Our Staff

Cynthia Cannon has been the Executive Director of the Consortium since November 1, 1999.  Before coming to the Consortium, she was both the Assistant Director of Development and Communications Director at Lawrence Hall Youth Services, the second largest welfare agency in the state of Illinois.  At Episcopal Charities and Community Services in Chicago, she coordinated special events and publications.  Cynthia holds a B.A. in English Literature and was a 1995 recipient of a Polly Bond Award of Excellence in Writing (National Episcopal Communications) for a directory of  parishes in the Diocese of Chicago.  She has an extensive background in writing, event planning, and association management.  Jennifer Reese joined the Consortium Staff in 2007. Previous to the Consortium, she was the Event Director at St. David's Church, coordinating external events at the church facility (which is beautiful and perfect for most any special event www.stdave.org). Jennifer has worked in the catering and event planning industry for 8 years, mostly in Austin restaurants, plus some concert business and independent projects. Her degree is from Texas State University, in English. Jennifer loves to read about farming, city planning and most anything.
