Jennifer ReeseJennifer joined the Consortium staff in 2007. As Associate Director, she manages the day-to-day operations of the two-person office, and also works with the Executive Director and member volunteers to shape the outcomes of CEEP programming, committee and board meetings, and special projects. Prior to working for the Consortium, she was the first Event Director at St. David's Church, Austin, TX, which serves as a special event facility in downtown Austin, providing full service event management, including catering (the program remains very strong). Before coming to St. David’s, Jennifer worked in the catering and event planning industry for 8 years, including music industry events and independent projects. Her degree is from Texas State University, in English & Women's Studies. Jennifer loves to read about farming, city planning and most anything.

Cynthia Cannon McWhirterCynthia has been CEEP’s Executive Director since November 1999. Before the Consortium, she was both the Assistant Director of Development and Communications Director at Lawrence Hall Youth Services, now the largest child welfare agency in the state of Illinois. Prior to Lawrence Hall, she worked for Episcopal Charities and Community Services in Chicago where she coordinated special events and publications. Cynthia holds a B.A. in English Literature and was a 1995 recipient of a Polly Bond Award of Excellence in Writing (National Episcopal Communications). She has an extensive background in writing, event planning, and association management, and loves living with her husband, Darien McWhirter, in their house in the Texas Hill Country.
